Silka Gonzalez

President & Founder of ERMProtect

Silka Gonzalez founded ERMProtect in 1998 after a distinguished career as an IT executive at Fortune 500 companies and Big Four accounting firms. Her company has grown to serve more than 450 clients across 40 industry verticals. A pioneer in information security, Silka has kept ERMProtect at the forefront of cybersecurity trends and positioned the company as a trusted advisor to global firms.

Esteban Farao

Director of Information Security Consulting Services

A 25-year industry veteran, Esteban, leads the company’s team of cybersecurity professionals in delivering a full suite of critical solutions to the company’s clients. With two master’s degrees and 12 certifications, his expertise spans multiple cybersecurity disciplines, including penetration testing, compliance, and digital forensics. Previously he worked for PwC, where he developed the penetration testing practice in Latin America.

Judy Miller

Director of Digital Forensics

Judy Miller manages digital forensic and misconduct investigations. She has overseen large-scale investigations related to computer intrusions, fraud, internal misconduct, and whistleblower complaints. A certified PCI PFI, she has managed dozens of investigations of credit card fraud for the major card brands. Previously, Judy was a managing director at Kroll. She began her career as an investigative journalist and led investigations that won the Pulitzer Prize.

Akash Desai

Director of Information Security Consulting Services

Akash Desai has 18+ years of experience at ERMProtect. With a deep technical understanding of ethical hacking, risk assessments, PCI audits, and security strategy, he has led some of the firms’ most complex cases. His interest in the human risk in cybersecurity led him to develop the firm’s security awareness training practice. A master’s degree graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Akash previously worked for the prestigious CERT® Coordination Center.

Dr. Collin Connors

AI Practice Lead

Dr. Collin Connors leads the firm’s AI practice. He specializes in helping organizations implement artificial intelligence strategically, securely and responsibly, combining his academic background with his extensive practical experience in cybersecurity. Having published research on blockchain, AI and cybersecurity, and holding top industry certifications in penetration testing and blockchain analysis, Collin can uniquely integrate security with emerging technologies. Collin earned his doctoral degree in cybersecurity from the University of Miami, and he holds undergraduate degrees in mathematics and computer science.
